Havis will kick off the month of April with a trip to Chicago, where we’ll display new docking and mounting solutions at ProMat 2017.
ProMat is the premiere trade show for the materials handling industry, a chance for leaders in the manufacturing and supply chain sectors to see the latest innovations in the field.
This year’s show is scheduled for April 3-6 at McCormick Place, with Havis among the 950 other exhibitors from around the world.
Havis will be exhibiting in booth #53576.
We’ll be displaying solutions such as the recently added DS-DELL-700 Series of IP-rated fixed docking solutions with internal power supply options for Dell Latitude 12 Rugged Tablets. Our solutions are designed to increase mobile productivity for in-vehicle material handling applications, including forklifts, mobile carts, and pallet jacks.
Also on display will be a range of mobile office accessories, including power supplies, keyboards and screen blanking solutions to provide easy, safe and legally-compliant ways to prevent driver distraction and manage mobile computer displays while operating warehouse equipment.
Headquartered in Warminster, PA, Havis takes pains to use the mobile office solutions it creates in its facilities. By collaborating with end users and OEM partners, we can solve the kind of problems that are unique to mobile professionals.
We work with companies like Dell, Microsoft and Panasonic to ensure that devices and docking stations are compatible, and to satisfy the needs of the marketplace. We recently worked with Dell engineering to develop the DS-DELL-700 series (patent pending).
The series provides a fixed docking solution to secure Dell Latitude 12 Rugged Tablets in applications requiring an IP65 compliant rating and an internal power supply. The Ingress Protection (IP) rating of “65” indicates a “dust tight” design that protects enclosures against jets of water from any direction. Internal power supply options are available for 12V vehicles, while external power supply solutions are available to accommodate a full range of forklift voltage requirements.
